minutes' walking distance, the
Lochcarron
Hotel and the
Rockvilla
Hotel. |

Both hotels are open to
non-residents and are highly recommended, serving excellent bar food and restaurant meals, and usually having a choice of
traditional real ales. |

Also, there are the
Carron Restaurant (approx 3 miles away) and the Kishorn Seafood
Restaurant (approx 6 miles). |

The
Applecross Inn (approx 18 miles) is a "must visit" for its
superb setting and its excellent cuisine for which it has deservedly won
national awards in recent years. Also at Applecross is the Potting Shed
restaurant which also serves excellent food. |

well-stocked licensed Spar shop/Post

the Lochcarron Garage which sells fresh food and provisions. |

There is a branch of the Bank of Scotland
(open on Mondays, Thursdays, and Fridays) with external Autoteller (Cashpoint) machine.

Also, there is a Royal Bank of Scotland mobile bank which visits the
village weekly on Fridays. |

There are 2 filling stations and
2 repair garages within the village. |

There is another repair
garage approximately 1 mile east of the village. |

|
Lochcarron Golf Club has a 9-hole course open to visitors.

Booking is not required for individuals, but play is restricted on
Saturday afternoons in summer. |

There is a sailing club in the village; also a public slipway and 5
visitor moorings. |
